Annual Wellington Literary Festival

October is the month of the Annual Wellington Literary Festival. A host of events, both serious and light-hearted, have been arranged for the festival, and further information can be obtained from the Civic Centre or the local press. The Mayor of Wellington, Cllr Pat Fairclough, welcomed guests to the opening event, and said how pleased she was that the MP for the Wrekin, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Telford and other local dignitaries supported events in Wellington, and was sure that the festival would be a great success, as it had been in previous years.
