Vote Liberal Democrat on 4 June

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm, and it is important that people use their vote, however disenchanted they may be about politics in general. Fringe parties which promote racist or isolationist policies benefit at our expense if we fail to support those who work for the benefit of the UK in Europe.
Over the last 5 years, UKIP MEPs have claimed their salaries and allowances, but have taken no part in the activities of the European Parliament. Two of their twelve members were expelled from the party, and one was serving a jail sentence! They put large posters everywhere saying NO to European Union, but never say YES to what? The alternatives are never spelled out, nor the benefits of the EU in terms of dealing with the global economy, climate change, and international crime.
Labour is suffering meltdown, with ministerial resignations occurring almost daily, so no point in supporting a failed party, which has no vision or policies for the future.So the only answer is to support the Liberal Democrats, who have been consistent and positive in their approach to the real issues that matter to people, with Lib Dem Liz Lynne making a valuable contribution over the 10 years she has been an MEP. She is recognised as being one of the most hard-working MEPs in the European Parliament, and must be re-elected on 4 June for another term.
